NY Yankee Farm Team
Little known piece of baseball history, the NY Yankees had a NJ farm team. Yes it is true, these stella atheletes supplied the Yankees with fresh produce in the early 1940's. If you look closely you'll see that the Fauls dominated the sport. The team was hot in the summer of 1941 (as was their equipment).
Then there were Five
As the Faul Family grew so did the State of New Jersey. Ever keen on economics, the senior Faul quickly figured out he could optomize on his property taxes by flooding the school with offspring. Sometime in 1950, Little Ferry passed an oridinance limiting families to five children. (I think John still has this suit. I have my tie.)

Goldilocks (Actually its brown)
At one time, his hair was trim and neat. Then came that famous Christmas when the Black Santa delivered him a bag of coal. The torment of knowing that coal was his just reward for a year of wild behavior twisted his mind and then his hair. Seeking solace in wild, he transferred from a college of debauchery to Castleton College (only he could find it). There he met his Florence Nightgale, who rumors has it has a red cross on lingerie. It was not long before she, as Delia did to Sampson, shorn this rebel of his golden locks.
Little Red Riding Hood - circa Nineteen Sixty Something
Back in the days of Easy Rider, there emerged from a small town in New Jersey a new challenge to Dennis Hopper. His name was Big Red and Smokies throughout New Jersey knew the sound of his 750cc Honda. Romanda and Vozella were names associated with his exploits. Little Ferry Wine and Liquors housed these cool cats! Last seen smoking a trail to the wild west, where his reputation flourished.

Thanksgiving
So, it's Thanksgiving. And, as we gathered this year as a family to celebrate this most glutinous of holidays we spent much of our time enjoying old family stories that keep us laughing year after year. Now I must admit, most of these stories are about the older generation(s). And I must also admit that us kids enjoy laughing at our elders. Although, our laughter is somewhat tempered by a fear that these eccentricities (most definitely a euphemism) are somehow genetic. (I'll let you know in thirty years). In any case, some of these stories are just too good to be forgotten, stories that our kids should hear and laugh about over future Thanksgivings. This is our attempt to preserve these tales for posterity. Some may question this decision, to make public these stories that, in some cases, may cause you to question our sanity. But that's okay, we are a little crazy, and that's why our family gatherings are so much fun. Ever see Christmas Vacation? The Griswolds have nothing on us.
Enjoy.
